SAVE THE DATE! The Homestead Roofing Hoedown

Written by Tracy Bookman | Mar 9, 2018 8:00:45 PM

In honor of our 5th anniversary, Homestead Roofing is throwing a huge THANK YOU party - and you're invited!

On March 6th, 2018, Homestead Roofing will celebrate our 5th anniversary. Because of you, our clients and partners, Homestead Roofing has enjoyed a lot of success in the roofing industry in El Paso, Teller, and Elbert counties. We have been able to serve far more people and partner with more industry experts such as insurance agents, realtors, and property managers than we could have ever expected when Beth and I, at our kitchen table, decided to start Homestead Roofing 5 years ago!

In response to the overwhelming support we have received from all of you, we are throwing a huge party, and you’re invited! In fact, the party is specifically FOR YOU! It’s our way of saying “Thank You!” for the outpouring of support and many kind words of encouragement, and referrals, and kindness you’ve all shown to us these 5 years.

Get Ready For A Hoedown!

Most of you know already that we have partnered with Cornerpost Meats to supply our clients with great, locally-raised, grass-fed meats whenever they refer us to another re-roof job (Did you also know that the person you refer us to gets a package of meat, too?). We have arranged the Homestead Roofing Hoedown to be at the Cornerpost Meats ranch, on their 1500-acre spread in Black Forest. There will be BBQ’d beef and pork, and all the other dishes that go with BBQ as well as dessert, iced tea and lemonade. There will also be a live bluegrass band for the music as well as a hayride and ranch tour! We’re even going to try to organize some “Homestead”-themed games for the kids (and adults, too), like 3-legged races, sack races, corn-hole, and others (if we can think of some).

The Details:

The Homestead Roofing Hoedown will be held on May 19, 2018 at Cornerpost Meats Ranch.

Cornerpost Meats is a working ranch at 10165 Hodgen Rd. in Black Forest which raises cattle, sheep, hogs, and poultry.. We’ll start letting folks into the Hoedown area around 11am. Lunch will be around noon, then the festivities will follow.

To get to the ranch from Colorado Springs, go north on Highway 83 and turn east on Hodgen Road. When you pass Vollmer Rd., go a little less than 1 ½ miles and there will be a driveway on your right. That’s the entrance to the ranch. We’ll have a Homestead Roofing sign there so you know you’re at the right place. If you’re coming from Falcon, or out east, get on Hodgen either from Eastonville Rd., Meridian Rd., and drive west. Go about 1 ¾ miles past Meridian Rd. and you’ll see the ranch entrance on your left.

We wanted to let everyone know about this now so you can save the date. This is by invitation only and is open to all of our customers and partners, but due to the restrictions of doing this on a working ranch, we have to cap the attendance at 150 people. Watch this blog and our monthly newsletter for reminders and additional details. Beginning April 1st, we’ll announce the webpage to which you can go to officially RSVP. The cut-off date for RSVP’s will be April 30th, 2018. Because we have to have a headcount to the ranch’s organizer, no late RSVP’s can be accepted.

Please join us for a fun time, hosted by Homestead Roofing, in YOUR honor for all your great support for the last 5 years!
